V1STA is working with the engineering department along with
the support staff of the OR, nursing, anesthesia, bio-med, and
all other parties involved at William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA in
Columbia, SC to design a technologically advanced PACU and
Operating Room suite to be located in an entire wing of their
existing facility. This new OR will house leading edge suites capable
of preforming Cardio Thorasic and Orthopedic prodecures
along with procedures using the DaVinci Robotics equipment
and monoplane hybrid equipment. All necessary infrastructure
will also be incorporated into the design. A PACU/Pre-OP suite
has been designed adjacent to the OR suite with all necessary
nursing infrastructure.
